Re: Methods for Squaring a Wing

Chris, Your method looks good. A bit more elegant than what I did as shown on this page: http://www.sonexbuilders.net/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=578&start=590 A key sanity check: with the skin clecoed to the aft spar the rib blue lines should line up under the holes. They may not all be perfect bu...

Re: Sonex lights and wire choice

Then you can ratio the motion by the idler and lever arm on the stick assembly. The hole clear the front of the stick where the bottom of the pivot is. On the ba...

Re: W14 flush riveting

Back riveting is a great technique. It is used often for flush -3 rivets on skins. Consider what is going on though- the gun is trying to knock the rivet out of the hole. The bigger rivets need bigger forces to set them. This is where the immovable flat concrete floor comes in. If you are using a gu...

Re: SNX-F08 seat pan stick holes in right spot?

Mike, This is engineers week. It has to be to the 128th of an inch. You don't need a 128th ruler Kevin - 1/64 will do. Then you can estimate. Actually I thought it was funny they called out 29/64" and then I had to take an inch out. It is like they looked at the throw only on the front side of ...
