Looking for a Sonex

Postby reodds » Sun Apr 07, 2024 1:09 pm

Hi Everyone. I am looking for a currently flying Sonex (any 2 place model). I am a bit past my 7th decade, and have no interest in building at this point in my life, I just want to fly! I live in NE Florida, so a plane in this part of the country is preferred. Thanks for taking the time!

Roger,
There are a bunch on Barnstormers right now.

At least one of those is listed by somebody on the forum with the same name ...

I think Ethan's is a great deal. He had all the bugs worked out and it was flying well. Its only a weekends work to overhaul it and put a new crank and prop on it.

You won't find a better equipped one for under $11k :)

Thanks guys, have checked them out, and seem "geographically incompatible! I was hoping to get one from someone on this forum before it got to the usual advertisers.

It looks great, however, I don't have access to a hanger to work on it, nor do I have the time or desire for the re-build. I have built 2 planes in my distant past, so have the ability, but I just want to fly and not build (or re-build) at this point in my life.
