Won't be joining you Jim. Took a new job and won't have the vacation time. We might head up to Montana to give you a send off though.

Ditto on what John said also. Things already got in the way after memorial weekend.
Can go to cut bank though

I made a slight detour and am in West Yellowstone at the campground. I'm the first visitor of the season and am expecting it to get cold! Since I didn't hear that anyone else was going, I'll probably launch out of Great Falls to Calgary either tomorrow or the next day after checking weather. Ill try to upload a video next time I have a hotel.

I have many stories to tell from being charged by a moose to dodging thunderstorms and dealing with mechanical issues. I made it back late on Saturday after a very long day of flying. While coming back, south of Las Vegas at 11:30PM, I turned off all of the cockpit lights and took a look at the constellations and the Milky Way from the comfort of my Waiex and thought back on what a wonderful world, indeed universe, we live in. Yeah, it was a great trip...

While I was flying to Alaska, I stopped for a couple of nights at the campground in West Yellowstone and did a multi-camera flight around the mountains outside of the park followed by a high flight over the park. This campground is well worth a trip to West Yellowstone. You can rent a car or borrow the bikes. I rode into town for dinner the second night after freeze dried stew the first night.

Here's the link of the flight seeing:
