Aero Trim adjustment

Postby Sonex1517 » Sun Feb 07, 2016 1:05 pm

I am trying to add nose up trim and am adjusting the Aero Trim.

Following the directions has me thoroughly confused.

How does one adjust the Aero Trim to add nose up? I am reading the manual and getting more confused.

Robbie,
I have not read the instructions yet. However I would assume you would move the fixed spring to put some nose up tension on the controls. What else could you do?

Bryan

I think I got it set, but I had to move things opposite the instructions to do so. Too windy to find out today.

Decrease tension on the aft spring, and/or increase tension on the forward spring.

The aft spring is providing nose-down force, the fwd spring is nose-up force.

I have just set mine, the instructions seem fine. One thing I did notice, on full down trim and the stick pulled back, the spring under the seat goes slack enough that it is possible to catch on the aluminum channel. I taped all the end of the spring and the cable fittings so it couldnt catch.
