Thanks for all the replies.. I purchased the HArbor Freight polisher- have not used it yet. How do you attach the cloths from nuvite for the cyclo polisher?

Did this polisher work out for the Nuvite? Does the recommended 3M 05711 pads work well with it? If not...a better recommendation?

Near ready to polish some stab skins.

thanks

In another time and another place I had a polished nose roller (that's why Myunn is painted).

I used a rotary polisher much like the one you linked to for the numbered polishes. Just be aware of the speed setting when polishing.

I couldn't afford a cyclo polisher for the letter grades so I used a trick I learned from a couple of guys that had really shiny airplanes and bought a palm held orbital polisher. I used it with flannel for the final polish stages and the once a year touch up. Worked very well.

Polisher was similar to this one:

For me it worked great with nuvite. I used the cheapie harbor freight pads rather than the recommended pad, and was happy with the results. I am sure it would work with the recommended pads as long as you had the right wheel. This buffer has the standard 5/8" arbor.

Correction: I used this polisher:
