New style sonex cowlings

Postby WaiexN143NM » Thu Nov 16, 2017 11:46 pm

Hi all,
Does anyone have the new horizontal split cowling from sonex? Avbl For older legacy aircraft and standard in the b models. Supposedly trimmed to fit for the rear. How is the fit working out? Much trimming or altering the cowl to fuse fit?

Hi Michael,

I have the horizontal split cowling on my OneX, and the classic vertical spilt on my Xenos. The horizontal spilt is much easier and faster to install, and I think it provides for a better fit.
