Checklist app

Postby Darick » Thu Dec 21, 2017 9:53 pm

Has anyone used a checklist app for iPhone? I currently am using a laminated list for preflight, start up, etc. however with the advent of "Siri" on my phone, I thought some enterprising computer geek may have devised a way for "Siri" to read off the items to you, prompted by your response to go to the next item. Sort of like having a copilot read the list and the pilot saying "check".

There are apps in the Apple Store but the descriptions are not detailed. Anybody know of a good one?

ForeFlight has a checklist.
You would have to manually as they only have samples of certified aircraft

I am trying MireCheck CoPilot and will let you know if it works as advertised. Sounds like it fits your description.

The CHECKLIST APP..........????

Being "old school" and a senior citizen I can't help with the "app question". Don't have a smart phone and am computer illiterate. However I am app to forget where I left my car keys.........just saying.

No disrespect to the millennia's.

Awww, Gordon, not many millennials here I bet. An "app" is something used on a smartphone. The phones have software for aviation - and while yes, we could read our laminated checklists, it's another one of those cool things we can do - having a digital copilot do a challenge and response checklist.

Helps us with our wanna be airline pilots dreams. Not really required or practical, but just cool stuff we can do with technology.

No disrespect taken...I'm 67 years young (a baby boomer) and looking for ways to assist my aging brain from making mistakes.
