Battery chargers

Postby WaiexN143NM » Thu Mar 22, 2018 1:25 pm

Hi all,
Good article in the may issue of kit planes. Jim Weir pg72. HF battery charger with a rejuvenate feature. For wet lead acid, gel cell, and AGM glass mat. He was impressed.
Heading to harbor freight to see if one avail. Viking model.

I usually by my car batteries at pep boys, and get Bosch batteries.8 yr pro rated, 3 yr free exchange .
I just had to swap one out in my Ford Explorer. 3 yrs 2 mo. But got a $94 credit. Had to pay $58.
Wish I had this new charger to try to rejuvenate. Car sits in garage in Tucson , but with battery tender on . Drove it recently but then it wouldn’t hold a charge.

R eplaced the oddesy PC625 in the waiex last yr, wasn’t holding a charge. About 3 yrs old.
Gonna try this new charger see if it can revive it.
