Converting Sonex-B model to dual sticks

Postby edwardsjethro » Thu Mar 28, 2024 2:56 am

I know it's been asked before but all the posts are at least a year old.

Has anyone made their B model Dual sticks? If not, does anyone see a reason it couldnt be done?

I have a center stick aircraft now and want to build a Sonex -B but the center stick poses a safety issue for me. My co-pilot tends to cross her legs on trips which in turn prevents right roll inputs. Not ideal...

Thanks.

I have done it using the kit Sonex has. Not a big job as mine is still under construction. I'm sure it could be done in a finished one but was no big deal with no bottom skin.

There is a dual stick kit for the B Model now check the Sonex website. It also makes improvements to the seat pan and accessibility of it in case you want to mount your servos in there.
