Sun n Fun 2018 - anyone going?

Postby sonexsteve » Thu Jan 04, 2018 10:21 am

Anyone planning on attending Sun n Fun next April? I’m planning to be there Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Will be driving in and RV camping the 3 nights.

If enough Sonex people will be there how about a ‘bring your own food’ get together say Friday evening at my RV in the campsite....I’ll supply the beer! My hire RV does not come with a bbq grill, only a small internal cooking area, so we’d need at least 1 largeish grill and fuel from someone else.

Hi Steve,

I was planning Tuesday and Wednesday and then going to Marco Island, but I have only flights booked at the moment so may change Wednesday to Thursday.

Weather and work permitting, I plan on flying my Sonex there.

Isaac and I are leaving Tuesday morning for Sun-N-Fun, and will be camping all week. Look for "Camp Sonex" in the homebuilt camping area! Come on by and look us up. We'll likely try and record a podcast segment one evening in the homebuilt camping hospitality tent, so drop by and join in!

Also, Isaac will be presenting his forum talk Wednesday morning at 9:00 on his Sonex building project. He's looking forward to sharing his experiences and challenges on his project, so come by and support him. It should be fun.
