Bikini bar!?!?!?!!!

The Sap Brothers bring in all the local talent to sling beers under the big helium filled ball. Good time if you like that type of stuff. Of course, Mike and I will be present to gauge if it meets expectations.

I hope you are brining the family minivan and leaving the camero at home.

That's one of the cool things about Airventure. Every year I find something new. How I missed this highly important attraction is beyond me though... Then again, I've never driven to the show or camped over there so I can see why I've missed it.

Really wishing I could be there again this year especially since I now have my Sonex flying. I went in 2013 and had a amazing time. Such a great air show, it's just a shame it's on the other side of the planet for me.

Hi all,
Spent some time on the eaa site today looking over all the forums and workshops. Looks like a onex will be under construction from mon to sat 8am -5pm. Located at homebuilders hangar area, east of the honda forums area. Put on by the aeroplane factory. Any one can help out. Sonex donated the kit.
Other forums to note:
Mon jul 25 1:00-2:15pm honda forum stage 9 sonex/waiex b models , xenos , onex overview john monnett
Tue jul 26 2:30-3:45pm honda forum stage 10 sonex flying qualities joe norris

Will look for more. Lots to sift thru.

Are there any more details on the Onex build at Homebuilders HQ? Do they want all the help they can get or will I be in the way? Can I bring some of my own tools? What is the goal? Are they going to try and finish it at EAA? Or is it there just to demonstrate the kit and give prospective buyers hands on? Who do we contact? I would be able to give two days (Monday and Tuesday) to the project if that is what is wanted. John ONX0179

Hi all, john,
All good questions! I just happened to see it while looking thru the the forums and workshop schedule for this years airventure. Two builds. A cozy and a onex. Apparently last year there was a onex tail kit build, now thru eaa and the aeroplane factory workshop will be continuing the onex build. Tried surfing the internet havent found much more. I guess next step is an email to eaa. Anybody else know any info?
