AirVenture 2017

Announce and discuss upcoming fly-ins

AirVenture 2017

Postby MichaelFarley56 » Sun Jul 02, 2017 9:54 pm

With AirVenture 2017 now only being a few short weeks away, I wanted to start a quick thread to ask: who all is planning on attending AirVenture?

For those people going, perhaps we could offer some basic information such as:

What days are you planning on attending?

Where is everyone staying and/or camping?

For those flying in, where are you planning on parking?

Everyone drive/fly safe and hopefully it will be a good turnout this year!

There is a slim chance I can go. If I go I'd prefer to camp in homebuilt camping (though I don't currently have a plane). If anyone is okay with me setting up a (tiny) tent with their plane please let me know ;-)

driving in on Saturday to camp Scholler, undecided if I will bring the plane this year, tired of the damaged polish job at the end of the week.

Unsure of my plans. May be bringing part of my scout troop and unable to join the gang.

- All week

- My house

- My hangar

I think I will leave my plane in the hangar again this year, but may taxi over one of the days.

I usually head back to the hangar after the airshow and relax for the evening so if anyone wants to drop by and say hi, my hangar is located on the north side of the field, back behind the self serve.
