Hello everyone,
I finally got my act together and put a video together of my first flight. It was both a first flight for my plane and my first time making a video. My first effort was a little cruddy, what with a little one upmanship going on with my mates I was determined to do better. So I made a second one to hopefully appeal to people who are not quite as bad aircraft nerds as me.

Cool WINTER morning in June?..……. Oh - wait! You are down under. That's why the compass is hanging from the upside down mount.....

WTG Richard - congratulations!

Richard

Great video, great looking plane. You are a true master of the bizarre camera angle. I kept wondering what kind of cameraman you found to sit on the turtledeck and stand on the wing....or was that close form with a drone? Congrats on the plane.

Thanks Gordon,
I had to buy myself a new toy........it's a 360 degree camera. I was too much of a tight arse to get the GoPro one but I got an Insta360 Onex camera and have been busy playing with it over the last couple of weeks or so. Working out the software is guaranteed to cause more grey hairs though!

Congrats on the first flight! Very nice first landing. I wish mine was so nice! But my crew gave me all tens anyway! I think in retrospect that was for not bending anything, or crapping my pants!! Scratch building is the best way to really know your airplane, IMHO!!
