Tailwheel, MGL Extreme EFIS, Uavionics Echo ADSB, Garmin transponder, MGL V16 Comm, Non turbo AeroVee. Mount for IPhone which provides aviation maps and ADSB traffic and weather. Would like to send pictures but can’t figure out how. You can check in to EAA builders log (https://eaabuilderslog.org) and view my builders log. Various pictures are there. I didn’t start that until recently by transferring my builders notes to the site, took three days. Wish I had started much earlier because it is a really good site, easy to update, add photos, and maintain a record.

I have 12.5 hours on it now. Just finished stall and climb/descent tests. Next is takeoff distance tests. For performance tests I had to fabricate a shelf behind the seat that bridges (see pic) between the lower longerons to support some ballast needed to get up to max gross weight of 950 lbs. Access is by pulling the seat back hinge pin. Ballast is contained in sturdy ocanvas bag.
I have been trying out a iPhone GPS biking app that measures distance traveled in feet to see if I can adapt it to measuring takeoff distance. I suspect it will be accurate within approximately 30’.
My plan has been to fly phase one while weather is good, then paint shop this coming winter.
