N21YX Panel! B-model / 10.6" G3X

This took ages but my panel is finally (pretty much) done! Here is what I came up with:

All along I thought the big G3X screen wouldn't fit on the stock panel, but after some trial and error I was able to make a little 1-1/4" tall extension to make it fit (here is how I did that: https://paegelow.blogspot.com/2020/08/p ... ng-10.html). The other large thing is an iPad mini dock. The open hole on the right side is for the seat heat switch, I just don't have anything to connect it to yet. Other than that everything is installed!

For finishing and labels I did Rustoleum Pro aluminum primer followed by matte black, then white-on-clear tape labels with my little label maker, then satin clear coat over that.

Looks good i always thought that bottom lip was structural and if we wanted to install a 10" we needed to go up instead of down but that might be an A model thing.

It probably is, but with the extension installed it still seemed pretty rigid. With the screen bolted in I think it's probably good to go. If the panel implodes later I'll report back!!
