Snap Roll

Anyone Snap Rolled their Sonex?

I don't mind doing most of the positive G stuff - but snap rolls are hard on the tail feathers of any plane and though the Sonex is supposed to be good to +6G - it's the one maneuver I've stayed away from. The empennage seems a little light on torsional stiffness for a snap roll.

Asking to be educated.

TIA

Graeme, not that it is required, being experimental and all, to follow the Sonex Flight manual. It does list on page 30 eight maneuvers and states "no acrobatic maneuvers are approved except those listed..."
Seems they are not to keen on Snap Rolls.

Yeah, don't snap or tail slide a Sonex...
