Airworthiness Certificate Received!

Postby tps8903 » Wed Jan 25, 2023 9:59 pm

Great news. N998PC officially has an Airworthiness Certificate. First Flight should be in the next couple weeks. Just waiting for the right day/weather/etc.

The DAR found a couple easily corrected, but important items. 1 oil fitting was a touch loose, but wasn't leaking, that was tightened on the spot. Also, I have a trim servo for elevator trim and the lock nut made contact with the pushrod fairing, so I just removed the fairing for now.

Hopefully my next post will be the video of a successful test flight. The only thing I'm worried about is my mixture. I'm hoping it's sufficiently rich enough to keep the CHTs in check. I feel like I have it in the zone, but only one way to find out for sure.
