Bending parts

Since I no longer have a table or radial arm saw I couldn't cut a 2x4 as shown in Kerry's video to bend certian kit parts. I solved the problem by using 2x4 blocks screwed to a 12 inch 2x4. It worked well in bending the vertical stab forward spar fitting.

Here is the finished product bent to size. I used a 2 ton arbor press and I think a 1 ton would have been difficult for me as I'm not a big guy and 74. I'm satisfied with the results and it fits well.

Here is the latest incarnation of my bending tool. Two pieces of oak screwed to ply, and chamfered on the edges. This is the little rudder drive horn for the Waiex.
