I agree Bryan

This would be a great launching point...and it occurs to me, isn't next year the 20th anniversary of the Sonex?

A bit off topic here Bryan. Really just about how small the world is. It was a beautiful morning here on the east coast of NSW Australia this morning. I took one of our local flying club members up for a fly in the Sonex this morning. After we got back from the flight he was telling me about his trip to Oshkosh 2016.
The highlight of his trip was bumming a ride out of Oshkosh in a homebuilt biplane to this great little airport community west of Chicago. A place called Poplar Grove.

Cool story Steve! Was it the Marquart Challenger? I saw them at Oshkosh and they fly a lot.

Lots of Stearmans here today. At least 8. One of my neighbors spread his brother's ashes over his favorite golf course today from his (neighbor not brother) former Stearman.

The C77 C170 fly-in. One C170, one DO27, one Sonex.

Josh couldn't make 3MY today due to weather so stopped here. Got my first Sonex ride. Thanks Josh! Also my first flight since November 2013!

Since Adam is learning to fly in a J3, the instructor taught him to hand prop. I offered him up to hangar neighbor Jim.

Adam's instructor flies an Ag Cat for his day job - built at Schweizer where I used to work, by my friends in chapter 533 and at Harris Hill.
