Hi Guys,

Just finished the eBike conversion. Only took about a day. Would have been much quicker if I had known anything about bikes.

The things are a blast. I yawned when my buddy got his .... until I rode it. The things are just fun. If you have never ridden one I would suggest you give one a try.

Hi Wes,
Looks like you used a BBS02 motor (or is that the HD). Yesterday I just finalized a build of an electric trike for the brother of a friend who has mobility struggles. We eliminated the display and throttle and installed a simple toggle switch. Worked out well.

Post another picture when you figure out how to put that bad boy in the onex baggage space..

…exactly what I was thinking Brock. Lets see it in the plane.

My wife and i have bromptons, which fold pretty small. No chance of even getting one into baggage on the waiex. I’m seriously thinking about a baggage pod. They’re about 10” thick when folded, and about 24” square.

Hi Guys,

It's a BBSHD 1000 Watt. I wend from a 46 to a 42 on the front sprocket. It climbs like crazy. First uphill test I didn't lean forward and it nearly came out from under me. I'm still spinning up on eBikes but from what I understand the 1000 Watt bumps it up to a class 3 bike. A 250 Watt motor is class I (in Texas) and the law treats them just like any other bike. The kit came with four 250 Watt stickers :-)

Just back from a camping trip. About 20 miles a day on the new bike. The most smiles per $ I've had in a long time.
