Prop refinishing
Posted: Thu May 17, 2018 11:14 amAfter flying through a rain storm on my way back from my eclipse trip I noticed that the paint on my Sensenich composite covered prop was damaged. I have been flying it like that for several months with no problems and no apparent additional paint degradation. However, I would like to repaint and would like suggestions (preferably proven ones) on how best to do this and what paint to use. The biggest delimma is whether to just sand and do touch-up painting or strip the entire prop of existing paint before refinishing.
