Late night at the hangar again. I am drilling skins. The wood is a quick little surrogate rib I made to support the skin while drilling. Helps a lot. One thing I figured out is you don't really have to measure out the holes for the angled part on the root - just lay a straight edge across the other marks and mark the intersection with the line 1/4" from the edge.
