Slow progress. Fit and pilot drilled the right wing tip. Was a little rough and I too, will need to play with fiberglass to fix a few dings.

Laid out the leading edge cutout for the right wing light

The big scary cut, measured over and over, just need to cut it out!

Slowly picking away at the lens install for the right wing. Cleaned up the edges of the cutout and fabricated the lens retainers. Riveted in the upper retainer and have the lens all prepped for marking and trimming. Will get it done eventually..

Hey Ken,
I recognize those parts. I see you went with nutplates also. Looks great!

Did you do the duckworks lights Bryan?

Finished the right wing landing light lens today. Also finished riveting the ailerons, decided to install the tips and mask and paint later. Will up-size the wing tip once I get the tip light mount pods fitting right.

Ken,
I did not. I have the Fresh Aero lights:

The parts look similar. I do like the Fresh Aero kit.

Your progress looks great!

Bryan, those fresh aero's look really nice, the retainers do look alike. Once the left wing is finished, it's on to the aft fuselage.

Thanks Darick!

Left wing landing light install progressing slowly. Leading edge cut out and upper lens retainer fabricated and installed. Just need to flip the wing over for the lower retainer and lens install.

Finished the left wing light lens install last night and fit the wing tip tonight. As far as I can go on the wings for now, will install the aileron weights after I get the bolts swapped out for countersunk screws since there is a slight rub on the rib with the AN bolts. Once I get the gauge pod and pulsar EXP light fit better, will upsize and install the tips.
