Jabiru 2200 Mounts Fit UL-260-Series Engines!

Did you know: Sonex Aircraft Jabiru 2200 engine mounts for Legacy Sonex and Waiex airframes also fit the popular UL Power UL-260 series of engines? A study conducted with UL Power representatives and Sonex engineers during AirVenture 2016 confirmed that Sonex engine mounts for the Jabiru 2200 engine will fit UL-260 series engines without interference.
During the conclusive study, engine mounts (both standard gear and tricycle gear) were fitted to demo engines from the UL Power AirVenture exhibit at Sonex factory headquarters. Further study revealed that the installation weight of UL-260 engines fit perfectly within the structural capabilities of existing Jabiru 2200 engine mounts.
