spar bumper

Postby wingnut99 » Tue Sep 22, 2020 7:39 pm

I have a 1 foot X 1" strip of rubber or similar that has a sticker that says spar bumper. I didn't see it on the wing rigging page but I have the wings installed with the delrin blocks under the spars on the lower longerons. Someone on FB said they go under the spars during installation but didn't say if they are temporary or permanent. Anybody have the answer?

The spar bumpers are riveted to the longeron and "remain in place". I confirmed this with the factory in July.
