Inserting the dual control stick assembly in fuselage I have about 3/16" between the stick assembly and the mounting angles, This is about 2 waskers needed on each side. Has anyone run into this before? I used matched hole parts so the locations were set by that.

Perfectly normal. Just add washers .

I ran into this also. As stated, just add washers as needed.

Actually a nice perk of this fudge in fitment is the ability to slightly locate the control stick left/right (using washers), which might help to get the stick-to-idler pushrod to fit down the center of the seat pan (with a lowered seat mod the clearance is pretty tight for that pushrod.)
