Sorry guys. The forecast for the Peoria area Sat. morning is 200 and 2. Definitely below my minimums. If it's a bust, just set another date soon. Hope you can cancel without too much trouble. It's a bit far to drive.

I think I'm going to have to bail as well. The weather is just too iffy for me to make a 4 hour drive down from Michigan. I'm disappointed. Sure would have liked the ride that Robbie offered. Just hung the Engine on mine today. Still have a long way to go with instrument panel stuff and other control items. Engine looks a lot smaller now that it's attached to the plane. The space will fill up quickly though I'm sure with all the Turbo and electrical stuff.

OK the weather for this Saturday looks terrible. We’ve had a fantastic response from a lot of Sonex pilots as well as owners of other cool planes that were going to fly in and now they can’t.

Having those planes and their pilots at the gathering will be the best part of the lunch. Let’s change the date and hope for much better weather.

Please let anyone and everyone you know that the Midwest Fly Out is being rescheduled and will not be held this Saturday. We’re going to shoot for 2 weeks from now on Saturday October 12th. I have to clear that with the airport and should know more tomorrow. Watch this space for further information.

Fly when you can
Change the date when you can’t
