I was inquiring about 5/32 dia rivets for a hole too oversized for a 1/8 rivet (oversized drilling out a bad rivet). The CCP52 is 5/32 dia 1/8 grip.

hi peter,
gotcha. try the ace hardware store, most carry the alum, stainless, steel pull rivets. u may want to call first see if they carry them. most stores have them, but some dont here in norcal.

1/8 and 5/32.

Tail is done and took delivery of the airframe/wing kit yesterday...its game on.

Have unpacked the shipment and trying to decide to move forward on the wings or the fuselage (tail is done). Are there any pros/cons for doing one before the other? I am leaning towards doing the wings first...

Do the fuselage first , that way you can sit in it and act like a 7 year old ( it’s fun ).
But really that’s just a personal choice.

If space is a factor, wings take up less space to store while you work on fuselage

Daniel is right..........do the wings first as they are easy to store. Depends on how big you work shop is I guess. The RV's I built I always did the tail and then the wings......stored them elsewhere and then the fuse which is a much longer build.

I did the same with my Onex and it worked very well. The Onex wings are only 5 feet long with out the tips and very easy to deal with. The fuse ends up on the gear and then the engine is hung and the panel installed. This is a lot of work and ties up your shop for a long time...........build the wings first.

When I did my Onex I built the tail feathers first. Two reasons. Smaller components to store, smaller less expensive possible mistakes. The fuselage was next, then the engine and panel and the move to the airport, without wings, was easier. All this took place in my half of a two car garage. The Onex wings are small and short, build fast, and can be transported in a van. I didn't want to store the wings for a year. There were too many changes in the kit during that time. Inventory and check the skins soon after receiving the kit. I had shipping damage to a wing skin that I didn't discover soon enough.

Regular wood bandsaw with a sharp metal blade in it worked for me. Stunk like heck and had to go slow but it cut the block ok.
