I have a Onex trigear with the Aerovee. Considering a Rotax 912 but concerned about mounting options, CG adjustments, placement of oil/water cooling, exhaust options, propeller adjustment if needed…etc. Some of you have done this and are flying. Would greatly appreciate feedback on build considerations and flying characteristics.

gcm52 - my compliments. You have managed to achieve a very clean looking engine mount, with lots of space between firewall & engine (despite the nose wheel )

Where did you get the cups for the rubber isolators? I'm getting ready to make a 912 ring mount for my sonex

I fabricated the cups based on a drawing sent to me by I think by Lord, who makes the rubber isolators, or maybe the drawing was in the Rotax install manual, I am not sure as it has been a while.
