First time poster...I have been looking at several Jabiru equipped Sonex for sale on Barnstormers.

I'm fairly new to the Sonex world but understand the Jabiru came with either solid or hydraulic lifters.. is one of these preferred over the other ?

On another topic... any idea about what serial number the "pre punched" kits started ?

Thanks !

You've asked a very subjective question, and may get quite the variety of answers - some based on personal experience, others on "I heard..."
Are you referencing 2200 or 3300?

Would suggest that you tap into the Jab/Cammit Yahoo forum group for this question.

My kit minus tail purchase back in March 2015 came pre-punched. However, my tail sub kit purchased in 2011ish wasn't. Hope this helps.

Solid lifter Jabirus have a good reputation. Early hydraulic lifter models have a bad reputation. Later hydraulic lifter models have a good reputation.
