Just curious if anyone else "attended" tonight's EAA webinar on assembling VW engines?

How was it?

EAA Webinar on VW Engine assembly

Postby Sonex1517 » Thu Jan 24, 2013 8:53 am

I thought it was a good presentation, but the presenter couldn't help but let his bias slip in there.

He had a couple of not so indirect shots at AeroVee, specifically the shrink fit hub and some alleged cooling concerns I expected it and just wrote it off to the fact that he competes with them.

He had some great background on the engine and things to watch out for during assembly.

Worth the time to watch.

I watched the webinar last night and found a couple of things to check at next assembly. Hopefully a long time off but one never knows. I noticed today they were selling his assembly book at a 20% discount which I advantage of to add to my library. I think the webinar and video series that EAA puts on more than worth the cost of membership by itself.
